Parent reacting to LPS lunch increase
Chew on this: The cost of eating lunch is going up for kids in the Lincoln Public School District.
A dime as a matter of fact.
If you don't think that's a great deal of money, you are right. That is until those dimes start to add up.
"A dime is a dime," said one parent.
The increase goes into effect next fall.
For kids currently getting reduced price meals, there is no increase. And for free meals, there is no change at all.
