Lincoln Police have identified the victim discovered this morning near the Legacy Retirement Home as 86 year old William D. Blue.

Blue was a retired Nebraska District Court Judge and once served as Assistant Lancaster County Attorney.

Lincoln Police are continuing to investigate Blue's death.

According to police, an employee saw a body partially submerged in a stream at the retirement community located at 7200 Van Dorn Street around 8:45 a.m.

Police say Blue was not living in the assisted care division and was free to come and go from the Legacy on his own.

Foul play is not suspected and the investigation continues.
