The Saronville man accused of vandalizing dozens of headstones in the Farmers Valley Cemetery has entered a guilty plea.

Robert Kelly, Jr., 18, faces one charge of felony criminal mischief. Kelly pled not guilty when he made his first appearance in Hamilton County District Court back in October.

In August, a neighbor discovered that more than 40 headstones had been cracked, broken, and knocked over at the more than century old cemetery near Henderson. Members of the cemetery association say it could cost as much as $40,000 to restore the damage.

Kelly turned himself in to the Hamilton County Sheriff after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He is set to be sentenced on Jan. 24.
