Fugitive Arrested After Failing to Return Rented Car

Lincoln Police arrested a man wanted on two warrants after receiving information from a bail and recovery business.
Police took William Trejo-Lewis into custody at his girlfriend's home in the 800 block of North 25th street Sunday.
The US Bail and Recovery Service in Bellevue contacted LPD when they found a car police say Lewis stole, parked in the area.
Police say he rented a white 2013 Hyundai Elantra from a Budget Car Rental in Omaha back in August, but never returned it.
Police arrested him for felony possession of stolen property and two outstanding warrants from Sarpy and Cass county.
