LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln police arrested a man Tuesday afternoon after an incident that occurred May 17.
Officer Katie Flood said 20-year-old Rocky Truong agreed to meet with another 20-year-old man to fight over differences, one of which was a woman they were both interested in.
When Truong arrived, he was armed with a handgun. Flood said Truong aimed the gun and started firing at the man. The man ran back to his car and was not harmed.
Truong was arrested for attempt first-degree assault and the use of a weapon to commit a felony.
After the incident, Flood said police executed a search warrant at his residence where Truong received additional citations for possession of a stolen firearm, possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, within 1000 feet of a school; three counts of possession of controlled substance and possession of a firearm with drug violation.
