A 33-year-old man is in custody after trying to break into a convenience store.
Just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Lincoln Police were called to the Casey's General Store at 2500 NW 12th Street for an alarm on the roof.
According to LPD, everything looked fine from the outside, when officers arrived. When police checked the roof, they found Tommy Hulett.
Damage was found to the roof hatch, indicating someone had tried to force it open and there was damage to the alarm system. Damage totals are estimated at $100.
According to police, Hulett was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail for attempted burglary.
