One man is biking across the country to raise awareness for no-kill shelters.
Armen Abalian's Biking for Animals campaign is raising money for homeless pets.
Abalian is teaming up with three local organizations in each state of his tour and The Cat House is one he chose in Nebraska.
The number of pets euthanized each year is why Abalian says awareness is so important.
"I was personally shocked when I found out the numbers of pets that are euthanized every year in this country which is estimated four million and I think when people find out this number they should be shocked like I was," said Abalian.
Abalian will leave Lincoln Friday and head to Colorado for the next stop on his cross country ride.
