A Lincoln man convicted of sexually assaulting a woman multiple times was sentenced in court Thursday.
A judge sentenced Frederick Johnson to as many as 85 years in prison for kidnapping, sexual assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
In October 2013, investigators said Johnson held and assaulted a victim for five hours.
Captain Gary Juilfs says Johnson knocked on the victim's door. Juilfs says the woman recognized the man as an former employee of Ollie's Convenience Store, where she is a regular customer.
Reports indicate that Johnson asked to use her bathroom, he went in and came out with had a knife. Police say Johnson took the woman to a rural area North of Waverly and sexually assaulted her several times, then returned to Waverly at 138th and Guilliford.
