A Lincoln man is behind bars after trying to run over his girlfriend and run from officers, police say.
Just after midnight, Wednesday, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in southeast Lincoln, where 37-year-old Keefe Turner had attempted to run over a woman.
She avoided his car but suffered burns to her hands, police say.
Turner then led police on a brief pursuit, but officers called off the chase due to safety concerns.
Police say Turner was eventually located at Northwest 18th and West O Streets, where he resisted arrest, was tasered and taken into custody.
Turner is facing charges of making terroristic threats, second degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and fleeing to avoid arrest.
