Man Robbed While Getting a Ride from Strangers

Lincoln Police said two men robbed a man after offering him a ride Thursday night near 40th Street & Old Cheney Road.

Police said the victim was leaving the Williamsburg Walgreens when two men offered him a ride. According to police, once the victim was inside the car, the driver asked for money while a back seat passenger pulled out a knife and stole money from his wallet..

According to police, the two men drove the victim to Russ's Market at 17th and Washington Streets and kicked him out of the car. As the car sped off the victim got stuck and then fell to the ground, injuring his hip and back.

Police described the driver as a white man in his mid 20s with a thin, lanky build and medium length brown hair. The passenger is a white man in his early 20s with a stocky build and short blond hair. Police are looking for a late 90s model white four-door Honda Civic.

The victim told police he doesn't know the two men.
