Undercover officers arrested an armed robbery suspect, after he agreed to meet his victim for a second time.
Lincoln Police say it all started when a 25-year-old Illinois man solicited companionship online and agreed to meet with 25-year-old Dean Kassik.
The two met at the Howard Johnson Hotel at northwest 12th Street, where Kassik robbed the man at gunpoint.
Police say Kassik took cash and credit cards from the victim.
When officers arrived, they took the victim's cell phone and, posing as the victim, convinced Kassik to meet for a second time.
When Kassik arrived, officers surrounded him and, after a short foot chase, took him into custody.
Kassik is facing charges of robbery, felony use of a firearm, resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon.
