Police are trying to learn the identity of a driver who ran after rolling a vehicle.
The call came in just before 2:00 Sunday morning. Crews from Lincoln Fire and Police were sent to 14th and Harrison Streets, just two blocks south of Bryan West Campus.
Officers at the scene said the white Chevrolet Blazer was traveling south when it lost control and hit a retaining wall on the southwest corner of the intersection. The Blazer then rolled over onto its side in the middle of the sidewalk.
A neighbor tells 10/11 News he heard the crash and went outside to see the driver climbing out through the door then try to push on the roof to upright the car. The neighbor said the driver ran off when he heard sirens.
Lincoln Police said they are trying to locate the driver and determine if he is injured. They wont know what citations the driver will receive until they locate and talk to him.
