Woman Arrested After Stabbing Man in Chest

On July 3, 2014 at approximately 8:05 pm the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault that occurred with a knife.  Furnas County Deputies and Emergency Medical Personal responded to 302 Norwich Street, Holbrook, Furnas County, Nebraska.

On July 3, 2 around 8:05 pm the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault with a knife. Furnas County Deputies and Emergency Medical Personal responded to 302 Norwich Street, Holbrook, Furnas County.

John M. Warburton, 36, of Holbrook was transported to Tri Valley Health Systems Emergency Room in Cambridge with a stab wound to his chest and a laceration to his arm. Warburton was later flown to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Warburton is listed in stable condition.

A 22-year-old woman of Holbrook was arrested and charged with assault in the first degree. The name of the suspect will be released once a bond has been determined.
