LINCOLN, Neb. -- A man is in jail Monday after running out of gas during a pursuit.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Department said 29-year-old Joshua Beebee was speeding along Northwest 112 and West 'O' streets when he noticed a Sheriff and reduced his speed. LSO says the deputy attempted to stop Beebee, but then terminated the pursuit.
A little before 2 a.m. Monday, the Seward County Sheriff's Office received calls of a man lurking around a construction site, walking through recently poured concrete. Deputes said Beebee continued on foot after his car ran out of gas.
Beebee was lodged for criminal mischief, disturbing the peace, speeding and operating a vehicle to avoid arrest,
Deputies said the investigation is still ongoing.
