A man is in jail after Lincoln police say he threatened two women with a machete.

Police arrested 42-year-old Clarence Edwards, II for making terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony and assault.

Officers were called to the 600 block of South 19th Street about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday and say Edwards threatened his roommate and a guest with a machete.

Police learned Edwards had also punched the guest in the face earlier in the day. They believe he was upset because he thought the women stole his marijuana.
