Masked Men Rob Fireworks Stand

LINCOLN, Neb. Two men robbed a fireworks stand as they were closing shop.

Just seven minutes before they had to close shop for the day's sales of fireworks, Black Dragon Fireworks was robbed.

According to police, the call came in around 10:55 Friday, when it was reported that two men had robbed the firework tent at 27th and Grainger in south Lincoln.

Police Captain Genelle Moore said the pair were both armed with handguns and were wearing masks when they walked up and demanded cash. The men took off with the entire cash drawer and an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects who took off eastbound on foot are described as being black males wearing all black.
