Roc's Stop and Shop was flooded with people Tuesday afternoon to try and win their piece of the Mega Millions' $636 million pie.
It's lottery fever in Lincoln, and everyone wants that winning cure.
"I could use the money," said Player, Rex White. "I'm not going to work after I win, either."
While some keep it simple and play quick picks, others say they have a special strategy.
"I've been playing the same numbers for a couple of years now, birthdays and special occasions," said Monica Bolin.
If these superstitious players win they have a good idea on how they would spend that money.
"Retire, completely retire," said White. "Spend the money as fast as I can."
Brad Hays says he plays for fun of the game.
"I'd have a lot of fun for the rest of my life," said Hays. "A lot of cars, a lot of toys, that's about it."
Even though the multi-million dollar jackpot would be nice, some residents say they'll take whatever they can get.
"I wouldn't want to hit the big one," said Player, Rudy Chambers. "I just want to hit something. Not the big one that'd be too much trouble."
