An early morning accident leaves semi full of milk on its side.
Just after 4:00 Saturday morning, police were called to a semi trailer reported to be on its side with no semi tractor around.
The accident happened in the 1000 block of W. Upland Ave.
Officers arrived to find the road completely blocked by the 53 foot long trailer.
The driver was found nearby inside the lot where the Land-O-Lakes trailer, full of milk to be delivered to retail stores, had been parked.
The driver reported he had pulled out of the lot and turned onto the road when the trailer disconnected from the truck and tipped over.
According to police, there were no injuries.
The trailer is expected to be upright and moved before 8:00 a.m.
There is no significant to traffic as the road which was blocked feeds to a handful of businesses but each have alternative routes to access them.
No one was available for comment about what would happen to the milk inside after the trailer was back on its wheels.
