Lincoln, Neb.-- Police investigate a crash after a car lost control and ended up rolling over before landing in a creek bed. Three people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Around 11:30 p.m. Monday, emergency crews were called to the intersection of S. Folsom and Rosa Parks Way for a rollover crash.
When police arrived they could not see any vehicle, but found tire tracks leading directly north from the intersection, disappearing in tall grass.
Officers at the scene said they believe the car was traveling northbound when it failed to stop at the stop sign and continued through the ditch and a fence, then a field before rolling over and landing on its wheels in the middle of Middle Creek.
Witnesses told police the care was going at least 60 mph when it ran the stop sign.
The driver of the vehicle, 30 year old Tiffany Steele was cited for DUI and reckless driving.
