A two car crash sends one to the hospital with minor injuries after both drivers attempted to beat the yellow traffic light.

The collision happened a little after 11:00 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 56th and Holdrege Streets.

One car was traveling south and attempted to make a left turn onto Holdrege. The second car was traveling northbound when the traffic signal turned yellow.
