Vandals Target Vehicle in Northeast Lincoln

Two tires and a broken window is what one vehicle owner found after neighbors reported hearing pops.
Around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, Lincoln Police were called to the 3400 block of N 51st on reports of possible gunshots and damage to a truck.
Witnesses said they heard three pops and went to investigate. They saw a vehicle leaving the area and found damage to their neighbor's truck.
The victim said he did not have anything missing from inside.
The officer at the scene said the tires appear to have been slashed and something large was used to break the window.
Damage estimates are $450 to the truck.
