It's Girls State Basketball at the Bob Devany Center, but surprisingly the girls’ basketball teams aren't the only ones to hit the court this weekend.
The Lincoln Southeast Knights got their redemption Saturday with a victory over Bellevue East. The team lost in the state finals last year.
Fans say it's a big day for the entire school, including another Lincoln Southeast team that showed up for the game.
The Dream Team is one of the only “step” teams in Lincoln. They performed at half-time of the Class A Championship game.
‘Step’ teams create beats using their hands and feet, and they say their school takes pride in what they do.
“When we do pep rallies, everybody is really loud,” said Sydney Loadhold, a senior on the team. People really appreciate what we do, and they think it's really cool because not everyone can do it.
The team had the crowd going during their performance on Saturday.
“I think we have a pretty good following,” said Loadhold.
They say; although they were at the game to cheer on their basketball team, state basketball is a memorable time for the whole school.
