One person is in the hospital with life threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Seward County Sheriff's Department, Mr. Mark A. Porter, 56 was critically injured when his northbound 2005 Yamaha collided with a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck at the Milford Interchange along I-80. The accident was reported to authorities at 3:45pm Thursday Afternoon.
The driver of the truck, from Plattsburg, New York drove across Matzke Highway from the westbound ramp on I-80 when the collision occurred.
Authorities on the scene said Porter suffered serious head injuries as authorities found him unconscious at the scene. Porter was initially taken to Seward Memorial Hospital but later transferred to Bryan West Trauma Unit. He is currently in critical condition.
