At approximately 10 a.m. Saturday Morning police and first responders were called out to a four-vehicle accident on 56th and R streets in Lincoln.

According to police, a pickup truck headed west violated traffic signal at the intersection and was struck by a southbound minivan. That impact pushed the pickup into two cars that were stopped in the eastbound traffic lanes.

Two adults and two kids were in the minivan at the time of the crash. All four were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was cited on scene.
