Lincoln Warns Murdock Trail Users of Dangerous Conditions

The City of Lincoln is warning those who use the Murdock trail, particularly cyclists, to be on the lookout for large cracks.
Those who use the section of the limestone trail between 56th and 84th streets are urged to be especially cautious.
Drought conditions are believed to be the cause of the cracks.
Natural Resource Manager Terry Genrich said it is difficult to close the section of trail because it has multiple access points.
