NSP Investigates Fatal Crash Near Kearney

The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened Monday evening.
NSP says a semi-truck was heading east bound on Highway 30 between Gibbon and Kearney.
They say a pickup directly behind the semi-truck failed to notice the semi was slowing down to stop and rear-ended the semi.
NSP says the driver of the pickup was killed in the collision.
They say the driver of the semi and other cars behind it were not injured.
NSP say next of kin has been notified.
No names have been released at the time.
