Nebraskans Urged to Lower Flags for Patriot Day

The office of Gov. Dave Heineman says Nebraskans are being encouraged to lower their flags to half-staff on Tuesday, Patriot Day.

Patriot Day honors the victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

The governor has ordered that flags at all state buildings and facilities be lowered.
