The Nebraska Department of Labor says the state's unemployment rate dropped to 3.7 percent in November -- the lowest the rate has been in four years.
The preliminary jobless rate was down from October's rate of 3.8 percent and well below the 4.3 percent seen a year ago.
Labor Commissioner Catherine Lang says the last time the monthly rate for Nebraska was as low was in November 2008.
The state's November rate was less than half the national rate of 7.7 percent in November. The national rate is down from October's 7.9 percent and last November's 8.7 percent.
