New Sign Goes Up At Lincoln Children's Zoo
If you are traveling down Captiol Parkway, you will no doubt notice the new sign at the Lincoln Children's Zoo. The huge white letters that look a bit like those used for the iconic "Hollywood" sign, were put in place this morning.
Not only does the new sign identify where you are, but the letters are also being used as a new fundraiser that will help commemorate special people and organizations. Officials at the zoo say a personalized hand can be purchased and put on the back of the letters.
The "ZOO" letters are located on the camel exhibit deck in the southeast corner of the Zoo.
