No One Injured When Car Hits Trailer and Rolls Onto Roof

According to police, the driver of a vehicle which hit a construction trailer, then rolled is lucky she was not driving faster.

Just before 10 p.m. Saturday, emergency crews were called to the intersection of Phares Drive and Lucile Drive for a rollover crash.

Crews arrived to find the Chevrolet Metro on its roof.

LPD said the driver hit one of the ramps which are used for loading and unloading construction equipment. The car then rolled.

The driver was reportedly uninjured.

The driver was cited for negligent driving and the owner of the trailer cited for being parked too far from the curb.

There is no information about the amount of damage to the car.
