North Platte Home Invasion Robbery Suspect Arrested in Lincoln

A 19-year-old was arrested in Lincoln after investigators say he robbed a pregnant woman at gun point in North Platte.

Just before eight Thursday morning, the Lincoln/Lancaster County Metro Area Fugitive Task Force arrested Sylvester Leblanc. They found him hiding in a closet in his mother's home at 911 South 11th street.

He was wanted for a robbery that happened on February 11, 2012 in North Platte. According to police reports, Leblanc and 21-year-old Jeffery Denson entered a mobile home in the western Nebraska city, asking to use the bathroom.

Then, the report says Leblanc threatened a 7-month-pregnant woman with a handgun and demanded money. The two got away with $34 and a cell phone. Denson was caught a short time later.

Investigators say they found marijuana in Leblanc's pockets at the time of his arrest. He is facing charges of robbery, use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession with intent to deliver.
