The Phelps County Sheriff's Office says a North Platte man was hurt after he rolled his vehicle in a ditch off Highway 6 & 34 late Sunday night.

Deputies say it happened a few miles southwest of Holdrege near 730 Road.

They say Steve Perez was driving west on the highway when he overcorrected and went into the south ditch. The vehicle hit an embankment, flipped, and landed on its roof.

Perez was taken to Phelps Memorial Health Center where he was treated, then taken to Good Samaritan Hospital. Good Samaritan officials say he has since been released.

Deputies say the vehicle was heavily damaged.
