Omaha NE Officials say 20 chickens and other animals have been seized from a house in Sarpy County.

The Nebraska Humane Society says animal control officers executed a search warrant and removed the animals during a raid Friday. The rescued animals include seven cats and two dogs.

Officials say a plastic carrier on the property had more than 40 pounds of chicken feces inside. A living chicken was found inside the carrier.

The chickens are now in the custody of the Humane Society. They are in quarantine.

Additional information about the homeowner has not been released.
