An Ogallala man is facing changes after police say he stabbed another man.
Ogallala officers responded to the 700 Block of West H Street Tuesday night around 6:40.
Police say 34-year-old Brian Brawley told his parents that he was going to stab someone, but both men were gone officers got there.
A witness told police he saw a stab wound on the victim. Police say the victim eventually did return to the scene and was treated for a stab wound to his back. He was later flown to Greely for surgery. Police are not releasing the victims name at this time but say he is in stable condition.
Police later found Brawley and took him into custody without incident.
Neighbors tell 1011 that Brawley and the Victim were drunk at the time of the incident.
"I saw Brian he come out the alley, and then I heard the guy chasing him down the alley, and the guy was screaming you stabbed me come back if you want to fight," said Neighbor, David Nuno.
Brawley is facing charges of attempted murder, terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and disturbing the peace.
Brawley is lodged at Keith County Corrections.
