Two Husker football players are facing legal troubles after two separate incidents on the UNL campus.

UNLPD said around noon on June 7, Boaz Joseph stole a "bait bike" used to catch bike thieves on campus. Through GPS installed on the bike, officers were able to locate Joseph on campus with the bike.

Joseph was cited and released for theft by unlawful taking.

In a separate incident around midnight on June 12, UNLPD received a call indicating someone may have been seen smoking marijuana on Vine Street Fields.

When an officer arrived on scene, Jariah Tolbert took off running. UNLPD said a second officer in the area was able to locate Tolbert and tackle him before making the arrest.

Tolbert was taken to jail for obstructing a police officer and cited for possession of marijuana (less than an ounce) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
