One Man in Hospital After Overnight Stabbing

An overnight stabbing sends one man to the hospital.

Lincoln police say two men were walking near 22nd and R streets around 2:45 Sunday morning.

They were approached by a black man and got into a verbal altercation.

The man then stabbed the victim once in the torso.

The victim and his friend walked to 25th and vine, looking for help contacting the police.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'1 with a heavy set build and a shaved head.

The victim was taken to Bryan LGH west and is expected to survive.
