Lee Batterton has been collecting marbles for over a half century and they're all on display at Lee's Legendary Marble Museum. The owner says his place is one of just 2 marble museum in the nation and it offers the broadest array of collectible marbles in the world.
Marveling at marbles consumed most of Lee's young life, "When I was in grade school I played marbles everyday. Before school, recess, noon, after school. I loved playing marbles."
That's why it's no wonder that Lee is today the proud owner of this million dollar collection, "To start with there's about one thousand three hundred and fifty jars around the top of the two rooms."
Lee has been seriously collecting marbles for more than a half century and even at 80 years of age, Lee is still mesmerized by marbles, "I love going to marble shows, we go to 6 or 7 a year."
Drop by Lee's Legendary Marble Museum and see what a million marbles looks like.
The museum is open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm and the admission is free.
