After being in the same building for 20 years, Best Buy in Lincoln is getting a brand new makeover in a different building.
Sunday, January 19 is the last day of business at the current location off 48th and R Streets. More than 100 workers will help move the store to it's new location at 70th and O Streets in Lincoln. The new store will feature a more efficient layout in a smaller space, but will have all the same products customers can expect from the tech-chain.
"After the closing we will be moving all of our product to the new location, working overnight, and trying to get it all jam packed before we open Wednesday and Thursday for our soft opening," said Best Buy Manager, Haley Walker.
The official grand opening is Friday, January 24 at 10 a.m. The store says they'll have deals on everything from televisions to tablets, and $10 gift cards for the first 100 people in the store.
