A parsonage house owned by the First Christian Church in Weeping Water received structural damage after it caught on fire Tuesday afternoon.

Around 1:30 p.m., fire crews from Weeping Water and Avoca responded to the structure fire next to the First Christian Church.

Avoca Assistant Fire Chief Austin Jones says there is no word at this time of what caused the small fire. There was no damage to the church and no one was in the house at the time of the fire.
