"[He] didn't hesitate and basically saved my life." - Cody Lindsey
A passer-by rescued a man who had been buried under a pile of rocks in eastern Nebraska.
Authorities say Cody Lindsey was towing a trailer full of driveway rocks with his pickup on Friday when the truck began to sway on the road leading into Weeping Water.
Lindsey says that his truck left the road and was heading toward a quarry lake, so he jumped out. But the trailer flipped and dumped the rock on top of him.
Another Weeping Water man, Chris Stackpole, saw the overturned trailer, stopped his vehicle and soon spotted Lindsey's head sticking out of the rock pile.
Stackpole called 911 and dug away enough rocks that Lindsey could resume breathing.
Lindsey says Stackpole "didn't hesitate and basically saved my life."
