Police say the driver of a pickup truck drove on the Mopac Trail and then a creek bed before rolling onto its side.
Around 2 a.m. Friday, Lincoln Police were called to the area of 56th & Holdrege Street after a man called to report being involved in a crash.
Captain Jason Stille said somehow, the driver ended up driving on the Mopac Bike Trail before he slid down an embankment and into the Deadman's Run Creek.
The driver traveled along the creek bed then attempted to drive out. While attempting to exit the creek, the pickup rolled onto its side.
Stille said the driver was uninjured and alcohol played a factor in the crash.
The truck is believed to be a total loss.
