A Lincoln man is in custody for burglarizing a home while the owners were on vacation.
Kevin Jones turned himself in Monday, but police are still looking for three more suspects.
According to police, Jones stole $23,000 worth of items, including four guns, jewelry, credit cards and a purse, from a Northeast Lincoln home.
Police tracked one of the stolen credit cards to Omaha.
Surveillance video shows two different women, a man and Jones using the card at different stores.
Police say Jones was tipped off to the empty house by an unwitting friend.
"Through his friendship with a man house sitting, he'd gone over to probably check on the home. Kevin Jones knew the house was going to be empty for some time and returned later without that friend," Officer Katie Flood said.
Police do not believe the house sitter is involved with the burglary.
They are still looking for the stolen items.
