Lincoln Police have arrested a man they say is responsible for two separate hit and run accidents.
About 1:45 Saturday morning, police were called to a hit and run accident at 11th & Cornhusker Highway after the suspect vehicle struck a jeep.
According to Captain Jason Stille, officers were told the suspect vehicle a dark colored SUV was being followed by a witness.
Minutes later the witness reported the same SUV struck a Lincoln Town Car near NW 4th and Cornhusker Highway.
Stille said the witness reported to 911 the suspect had parked and ran into a residence in the 700 block of W. Dawes.
According to Stille, the first accident victim was transported to Bryan LGH Medical Center West with non life threatening injuries.
The suspect, whose name has not yet been released, was also transported to the hospital for minor injuries. The man was later arrested for leaving the scene of an injury accident, a felony, hit and run and DUI.
