The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in recovering property stolen in the string of daytime burglaries.
Sheriff Terry Wagner believes the two suspects, Milton Kelly and James R. Williams Jr., got rid of stolen property as they were fleeing police Monday. Wagner also said a bike was stolen during the pursuit.
LSO confirmed Kelly and Williams are responsible for at least four of the nine daytime burglaries reported since last December, and they are investigating their potential involvement in the other incidents.
Officers said the two men are responsible for about $46,000 in stolen property and thousands of dollars in damages.
Kelly was cited by Lincoln Police in the crash for leaving the scene of an injury accident, driving with a revoked license, willful reckless driving and no proof of insurance.
