Lincoln police have arrested the man they believe is responsible for holding up a smoke shop in late June.
It happened just after 8:30 p.m. June 23, at the Dirt Cheap store near 27th and Randolph Streets.
Police say a man came into the store with a silver handgun. They say the clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and he left.
Victims described the suspect is described as a black man, about 5'8 and 150 pounds with tattoos on his arms.
Through the investigation, police developed 22-year-old Andre Johnson as a suspect.
They say a confidential informant told police he could have been involved. Police learned Johnson has extensive tattoos on his arms.
Video surveillance captures images of the robbery suspect leaving in a white Honda. Police say Johnson's girlfriend owns the same car.
Police stopped Johnson Wednesday, near 33rd and Holdrege while he was driving his girlfriend's car.
He was booked in Lancaster County Jail for robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
