Police Investigate Assault with Shots Fired

A rowdy party ends with an assault.
Just before 3:30 Saturday morning, police were called to an apartment in the 1900 block of Garfield.
When officers arrived, they found a man bleeding from the face who had apparently been assaulted.
Officers say he was transported to Bryan West with non-life threatening injuries.
There were also reports of at least one shot being fired at the party.
Police are interviewing witnesses and trying to confirm who attended the party and if someone fired a gun.
