Police Investigate Early Morning Home Invasion Robbery

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln Police are investigating an early morning home invasion robbery on the 2400 block of D Street Sunday.

Officers received a call around 1:15 a.m. from a woman who said she was in her home with a few other people when a man came in through an unlocked front door with a handgun and demanded personal items from the people inside.

The suspect left the scene with a purse, wallet, other personal belongings.

Police describe the suspect as a black man in his 20s, around 5'11", between 150 to 180 pounds, wearing a gray sweatshirt.

No arrests have been made at this time.
