Police say a Lincoln man was cited for negligent driving after a rollover crash in a residential neighborhood.
Just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, police and fire crews were called to the 2900 block of Ryons Street for a rollover crash.
The initial report was that a 33-year-old man was trapped inside.
Crews arrived to find the car on its roof and they stabilized it before working to extricate the driver.
According to officers at the scene, a car was heading east on Ryons when it hit a Honda Pilot and rolled.
The owner of the Honda said he had just purchased the SUV seven days ago.
The driver, who lives just a few blocks from the crash, was transported to Bryan West Campus with non life-threatening injuries.
Police don't believe that alcohol is a factor in the crash.
Damage to the SUV is $5,000. The car is totaled.
