Police Investigate Two Armed Robberies Believed to be Related

Lincoln Police are investigating two late night robberies they say are related.

The first happened just before 1 a.m. Monday at Mills Squeegee in the 2600 block of Ticonderoga Drive in north Lincoln.

Lincoln police say two masked men entered the store, one armed with a gun, the other had a knife.

According to reports, the men took money and ran from the store. A K-9 track stopped abruptly near scene, where police believe the two got into a car.

Police say a second robbery was reported just before 3 a.m. at the Kwik Shop at 33rd and Holdrege Streets.

Police tell 10/11 News two men with similar clothing descriptions entered the store, again, one was armed with a handgun.

The men got away with cigarettes and cash.

Police believe a third suspect may have been involved.

One suspect was last seen wearing a green sweater and black shorts, a second suspect was described as wearing all dark clothing.
