Lincoln Police are investigating an armed robbery near 33rd and Q Streets.
The call came in about 12:30 Sunday morning, in the 300 block of N. 33rd Street.
According to Captain Jason Stille, the 50 year old male victim was walking in the area when two men approached him.
Stille said one man held a pistol to the man's stomach and demanded money. The victim pushed the gun away and the suspect hit him. Then the other suspect began hitting him.
According to Stille, when the victim fell to the ground, the men took off with his backpack.
One suspect is described as being about 6'2" tall and about 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a light green hoodie and blue jeans.
The other suspect is described as being about 5'8" wearing a dark hoodie and jeans.
